Summer’s over and the temps are dropping. Here are some tips and tricks on how to change things up in the bedroom and get cozy!
Bedding: it’s time to put the linen away and bring out the fur! Layers of warm and cozy fabrics bring a sense of warm. Think flannel, fur and velvet. I like staging a bed with a coverlet plus a down filled duvet.
Tones: deep and rich tones like tan, taupe and grays help add depth and drama.
Accessories: I like to keep accents seasonal. Swapping out inexpensive items like throw pillows and blankets, the room looks as if it’s had a total overhaul.
Lighting: Adding white candles is inexpensive and adds great ambience. Visit a thrift shop – clear glass vases make great hurricanes!
